Here's the back story:
TAKEN was formed in the summer of 2001. Over the next five years they wrote, recorded, and independently released three EPs and one LP. In 2006 the band attracted the attention of numerous record labels and eventually signed with Slanted Records (www.slantedrecords.com) in the fall of 2006. Along with the new attention and the step up to the national stage came the need for a name change – this due to legal, property rights issues with the name TAKEN. The band struggled for a few months to come up with a suitable name. It really is hard to name yourself! The band has now settled on one. They will henceforth be known as: (drum roll please) … … … After Edmund.
