In recent days, the Beijing Science Commission has initiated the important science and technology project called the research and demonstration of key technologies of stage LED lighting. It also organized the Beijing Xingguang Film&TV Equipment Technologies Co.,Ltd., Beijing Landsky Lighting Engineering Co., Ltd., and Beijing Changan Theartre to develop the high power LED fixtures which meets the international leading standard. In addition, it has been working with Bejing Bureau of Culture to promote the LED demonstration of the Beijing Changan Theatre in order to achieve the first comprehensive application of high power LED fixtures at domestic stages and theatres.

The project will help save more than 80% of lighting energy on the stage at the Beijing Changan Theatre and decrease minimum 90% of material consumption. Moreover it will establish an annual productivity of 5000 units of professional lighting fixtures such as 100W-400W stage LED spotlights and profile spotlights in Beijing. The achievement will be promoted at the hundreds of theatres in Beijing.
